Attorney Paul Huff has been an advocate for workers’ rights since his first year in law school, and is dedicated to helping employees obtain justice for the illegal actions of their employers.  Paul has assisted clients with appealing denials of public benefits and obtaining compensation for unpaid wages, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.

Paul earned a B.A. in Sociology, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2016.  Paul wrote his Honors Sociology Thesis on how students’ social backgrounds influence their choice of college major and perpetuate social and economic inequality.  In 2022, Paul obtained his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC College of the Law, San Francisco), graduating cum laude.  During law school, Paul participated in UC Hastings’ Workers’ Rights Clinic, Hastings Public Interest Law Foundation, and Hastings Employment and Labor Law Students Association, and wrote a research paper advocating for more robust parental leave policies to combat gender inequality in the workplace.

During law school, Paul interned at the National Labor Relations Board, Region 32 in Oakland, CA.  Paul assisted with conducting union elections and investigated charges of labor violations by procuring affidavits, researching and interpreting regulations and case law, and reporting his findings and recommendations.
Paul started his career as an Employment Litigation Fellow at Open Door Legal, a non-profit legal organization in San Francisco.  Paul helped represent employees by conducting intake interviews, analyzing employment regulations and public benefit procedures, calculating damages, and drafting discovery requests, demand letters, and complaints.
